hints for making baby's first year more memorable for everyone (especially you!).
What is a Milestone?
A Milestone is a roughly based guideline for your baby's development, designed to tell you how your child is progressing as per
what is appropriate for their age. Milestones are generally divided into months in a child's first year of life.
All children are different and so develop at different rates. Don't be surprised if your baby achieves a goal one or two months either side of a
suggested Milestone.

What To Do If You Are Concerned About Your Child's Development
If you are ever concerned that your child is not developing at what you think should be a 'normal' rate, or something is just not quite
sitting right with you regarding your child's health, always contact your Early Childhood Health Professional.
Early detection is the key, so the earlier you are able to see a Health Professional and identify or diagnose a concern, the better your child's chances will be for
getting immediate assistance.
If you have contacted an Early Childhood Health Professional and you are unhappy with the diagnosis you have received, it is always a good idea to get a second opinion.
You are the person who knows your child best, so don't take no for an answer if you believe that your child is experiencing difficulties or could use a little extra help.
