Putting Together a Craft Resource Box

Art and Craft Activities can provide your child hours of creative fun. But it always seems that you don't have the right materials available when you need them. By putting together a Resource Box, you will never be caught short of art and craft options again.

Start collecting some of the things listed to have on hand when you and your child feel like being a little creative. You could set up a cupboard in the laundry specifically for this, with labelled jars and containers of smaller items such as glitter or sand. If you are a little short for space, use a toy storage tub and small margarine containers to keep little bits safe and hide the whole thing away in a cupboard or wheel it under the bed!

Our list is not designed to be exhaustive, nor is everything on it compulsory. It is simply designed to give you a few ideas of things you might find useful.

Please remember some of the items listed should be used only with competent adult supervision.
