August 2007 |
This was our first web poll, and to be
honest it was a bit of a functionality test.
The response was slow, but in reality we
had not done much to tell you all that it was out there.
Towards the end of September,
participation in the poll really started to increase and the result
was overwhelmingly that yes, childcare in Australia was becoming too
expensive.
Stay tuned for our new poll kicking
off in October 2007. |

October 2007 |
One reader posed the question of whether
there was too much pressure on parents to have the perfect child.
Again the response was strong and the
emotional question drew another clear response. Many responses came
back in the affirmative, with many caregivers indicating that often
times that pressure comes primarily from within.
Future polls will be linked to an
upcoming article on the site where we will try to address the issue
at hand or at least point caregivers in the right direction. Stay
tuned for our next poll kicking off in January 2008. |

January 2008 |
With the focus over the New Year being on babies and the birthing process, it seemed timely to ask the question about your birth experiences.
Many of the books and articles you read come at
a birth plan from different angles, to some it is a rule that must be followed, to others
it is a set of guidelines and some disregard the birth plan altogether.
For those that chose a birth plan or those that know somebody that did, we would be interested to hear your experiences or the experiences of the people you know, did your child birthing experiences follow your birth plan? |
